Com. Rakhal Dasgupta led the mammoth rally of JCA to Rajbhawan

State level JCA of Assam State headed by its Chairman Com. Rakhal Dasgupta Marched to Rajbhawan, Guwahati on 2nd April, 2015. About 3000 Central Govt. Employees of which 1500 from NFRMU alone Marched about 2 KM  to reach Rajbhawan.

 On the occasion at about 10.30 hrs a mass convention of all the constituent organizations namely affiliates of AIRF, NFIR, AIDEF, NFPE, ITEF, FNPO & CCGEW held at District Library auditorium at Guwahati with Com. Rakhal Dasgupta in the chair. Leaders of the constituent organizations narrated the objective and issues of the convention.

The Convention of State JCA of all Central Government Employees endorsed the Charter of Demands adopted in the Convention of all Central Govt Employees held at New Delhi on 11th December 2014.

Express its anger that although there was show of discussion on the Charter of Demands between the Govt of India and staff side, Standing Committee of NC/JCM on 25th Feb-2015 negotiated  settlement on not a single issue could be arrived at .

Urges upon the Govt of India to start serious negotiations at an appropriate level with a view to arrive at a negotiated settlement on the Charter of Demands.

Call upon all constituent Organizations to step up preparation for a total indefinite strike in all Central Govt Services; Urges to join the demonstration to be staged before Parliament on 28th April 2015 by all Central Govt Employees Organizations in a massive way to compel the Govt to have negotiated settlement on charter of demands with Joint Council of Action of all Central Govt Employees without any further loss of time.  

            After the winding up of the convention, a mass rally marched from District Library to the Rajbhawan.

            A delegation of 10 representatives from State JCA entered the Rajbhawan amongst whom Shri Ramani Barman, President, Shri Rakhal Dasgupta, General Secretary  Shri Pijush Chakraborty and Shri Dilip Chakraborty both the Joint General Secretary were present from NFRMU.

Due to absence of Rajyapal the declaration ws handed over to his Secretary who assured to handover the same to Rajyapal after his arrival.
