In view of All India Strike called by all Central Trade Unions on 02.09.2015, Leaders of HMS, Assam State lead the Bandh programme throughout Assam.

Picketers blocked Train movement at different places in Assam. Bank, Insurance, other private and Public offices remain closed in all the Cities and towns. No private bus, Auto rickshaw, Taxi plyed on the road.

Shri Ajoy Dutta, President, HMS Assam State arrested along with Shri Ramani Barman, President of N.F.Railway Mazdoor Union and other leaders like , Shri M.R.Sarkar, Shri Kanak Barman Shri Chuchen Hazarika & Shri Durga Dutta arrested while picketing infront of Railway Head Quarters at Maligaon, Guwahati.

At Bongaigaon Shri Ashis Biswas, General Secretary, HMS Assam State arrested while picketing before DC Office and Shri Gobinda Biswas,Advocate & Secretary Bongaigaon distt, HMS arrested while went to block train movement at bongaigaon Station.

The Strike in Assam was spontaneous and complete.
