Sub: Implementation of the orders of the MoF(Deptt. of Exp.) reg. Central Civil Services(Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 – opportunity for revision of option to come over to revised pay structure

Ref.: MoF(Deptt. of Exp.), Government of India’s O.M.No.4-13/17-IC/E-III-A dated 12.12.2018

Ministry of Finance(Department of Expenditure), Government of India, vide their Office Memorandum referred to above(copy enclosed for ready reference), has decided that, “in relaxation of the stipulation contained in Rule 6(4) of the CCS(RP) Rules, 2016, the Central Government Employees, who have already exercised their option to come over to the revised pay structure, as notified by the CCS(RP) Rules, 2016, shall be permitted another opportunity to revise their initial option in terms of Rules of 5 and 6 thereof.

The Board are, therefore, request to implement the decision of the MoF(Deptt. of Exp.), contained in their Office Memorandum supra and communicate necessary instructions to this effect to the General Managers of the Indian Railways.

An early action in the matter shall be highly appreciated.
