AIRF has vehemently rejected Bibek Debroy Committee report

The two days Seminar of All India Railway Men’s Federation (AIRF) organized on 22nd & 23rd May, 2015 at New Delhi on Dr. Bibek Debroy Committee Report., After a detailed debate, rejected the Interim Recommendations of the Dr. Debroy Committee , submitted to the Government of India on 31st March 2015 because the present Indian Railway System will not only collapse but will face into the hands of capitalist.
Shri Shiva Gopal Mishra, General Secretary, All India Railwaymen’s Federation further stated that if the recommendations are implemented, there will be steep hike in passengers and freight charges and safety of the passengers will also be in dangerous.
According to Shri Mishra , Wherever Railway System privatized in the world, the Government subsidy has increased five to six times and passengers and freight charges are also increased subsequently. The British and Newziland Railway system has been re-nationalized due to this reason.
The medicine, proposed by the Debroy Committee will result into death of patient and not the recovery and therefore no body will accept this.
Comrade Shiva Gopal Mishra said that All India Railway Men’s Federation will organise a United Movement against this report.
Shri Rakhal Das Gupta, President, All India Railway Men’s Fedration presided over this seminar, which was also addressed by Former Minister Shri Dinesh Trivedi, Ex. CRB, Shri V.K. Aggrawal, Shri Praksh Narain and Ex. Member Engiering Shri Subodh Jain.
