REPORT OF ACTIVITIES OBSERVED ON WORLD HIV DAY 1st DECEMBER 2015.

World HIV AIDS day 2015 is observed by AIRF India /NRMU on 1st December 2015, by conducting health check up camp program. Programme scheduled at AIRF office in the AIRF library at 10:30 am.A picture gallery on prevention and cause on HIV was displayed. The awareness message was given by com Jaya Agarwal through picture gallery she said that it is time to put our effort jointly to fight with the issue.  Many of the speakers who are activist gave their message.com Sonia Hasija.com A Bhardwaj, comrade Neena, com Sadhana, com Anita, com Manju,com Satish  Chand Gupta com Chander,Com Babita  and were present with their teams to spread the message of HIV free society by 2020.  The young HIV AIDS activist com Seema Kahar the organiser of today’s camp and work with PLHIV throughout the year explained the doubts about stigma. She also stressed to open and talk on the subject. President NRMU com S.K.Tyagi left no stone unturned to fulfil the object of the day. Com. LN Pathak GS Coach factory RBL said to be more strategic work on the stigma. General Secretary AIRF /NRMU  Com. S . G Shiva Gopal Misha said that we all should start this campaign from ourselves and feel free to talk on the issues with our family and friends he also said that our organization will make a yearly calendar of activities and campaigns.Our Comrades from Delhi Division and  branches com. Lakhan Singh BS and Com. Ajay bhardwaj President from Loco NDLS, Com.Anup Kumar BS NZM branch, Com. Dinesh bhardwaj BS andCom.Tara Singh President NDLS Branch were also present to make the event more successful.A toeam of god Doctors and pathologist under supervision of Dr Meenakshi Agarwal Sr DMO Central Hospital, New Delhi and lab suptd. Mr Shree Kumar Dhengre along with Mahfooz alam assistant chemist, Dr Anwar, Pradeep Kumar, Sumit Balodi and Rakesh kumar were there till 4:00 pm, the programme was benefitted by approx 500 workers and users.Two new case of sugar and 8 cases of hypertension were detected. An initiate to make a group of VOLUNTEERS BLOOD DONORS was started to help PLHIV time to time as per requirement with cordination of NRCH/New Delhi.

Other activities like workshops, seminars, blood checkup camps, blood donation camps and awarness campaign were also orgnised at Chandigarh, Ambala, Jugadhari, Firozpur, Amritsar, Ludhiana, kalaka, Lucknow, Varanasi, Raibaraeli, Sahajanpur, Hardoi, Moradabad , Haridwar, Rohtak, and Nizamuddin, Shakurbasti,Tuglakabad and Gaziabad at Delhi Area to review and renew our promise to zero HIV infection by 2020.
