Sub:- Grant of financial upgradation under MACPS to Station Masters

Arising out of the decision to upgrade Assistant Station Masters in GP 2800 to GP 4200 and merge them with the post of Station Masters in GP 4200 communicated vide Note 2 of Annexure B of Board’s letter dated 02.08.2016(RBE No. 93/2016), the issue of ignoring promotion from ASM (GP 2800) to SM (GP 4200) for the purpose of MACPS has been under Board’s consideration.
