On the clarion call of All India Railwaymen’s Federation, Dahod Observed International Women’s Day on 8th March, 2017. Occasion was attended in huge number by women employees. Various Women Employees while speaking on the occasion insisted that Whole working class should move on collectively and take measures for the upliftment of Women in society.

while talking about the women empowerment said, it is a matter of satisfaction that, women are taking part actively in the trade union activities. Though time is tough as 7th CPC is not as per our expectations as well a number of issues are lying pending with the Railway Board since long. He said, “I know that, major concern of the women employees is curtailment in the Child Care Leave by the 7th CPC”. He further said, “AIRF, being free, democratic and an independent organization, will leave no stone unturned for the sake of the employees as well as Railway Industry”. He further added, “We are committed to fight for justice and right for the last employee in the Railway Industry”.
