LIFE MUST GO ON! – COM. SHIVA GOPAL MISHRA

Dear Friends,

I received your communication of condolence during the dark days of June 2019 when a tragedy struck my family and dealt a heavy blow to my life and work.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind words and message which meant a lot to me during the period of grief.

I have returned to work in the face of new challenges posed by the Government of India for Privatisation and Corporatisation of the sectors of the Indian Railways in the first 100 days of the new government.

The tragedy in my personal life will stay with me forever, but life must go on.

Keeping my personal grief aside I have decided to re-dedicate all my energy to my work. The fact that my larger family of comrades at the National and International levels are with me and there are expectations from me to deliver success and wins in the struggle to protect workers’ rights gives me the strength to carry on and lead the struggles.

It will be my endeavour to do my best in my work and to take care of my fragmented family and their well-being.

I once again wish to thank you for standing by my side in my hour of crisis.
