Sub: Observance of the “National Youth Day” on 12th January, 2020

As you are aware that, “Swami Vivekananda’s Birthday” is celebrated on 12th January every year in India as “National Youth Day”.

Although, the philosophy of Swamiji and the ideals which he pursued and worked for, are great source of inspiration for our Youth.

What Gandhiji said, captures the great importance of spreading Swami Vivekananda’s ideas and the ideals among the youth in our country today. He personified the eternal energy of the youth and their restless quest for truth. We must work to rekindle the eternal message of this great patriot and son of India.

It would, therefore, be quite appropriate that, our affiliates should observe “National Youth Day” on 12th January, 2020, in a befitting manner, all over the Indian Railways, as has been done in the past also, which would greatly help in organizing the youth in our organization.

The reports of the programmes, so conducted, may also be forwarded to AIRF Office for better appreciation of the same.
