Dear Sir,
Sub:- Fixation of pay of School Teachers on allotment of Senior Grade/Selection Grade after completion of 12/24 years of service – PNM/AIRF item No. 03/2022.
The undersigned is directed to refer to the minutes of the separate meeting held with AIRF on 20.03.2025 in respect of item No. 03/2022, wherein it has been minuted to examine the issue further. In this regard, it is stated that Railway school teachers have now been brought within the ambit of the MACP Scheme w.e.f. 29.04.2025 and accordingly, the existing CAS stands withdrawn. This decision has been communicated to all Zonal Railways/PUs vide Board’s letter dated 05.05.2025 (copy enclosed). Further, under the MACP Scheme, the benefit of pay fixation available at the time of regular promotion is also admissible at the time of financial upgradation as provided in Rule 13 of the RS(RP) Rules, 2016. In this circumstance, the item may be treated as closed.
