Subject: – Timeline for recording of APAR for the reporting year 2025-26.
Reference:- Board’s letter No. 2025/CRB&CEO-CC/03/04 dated 02.04.2026 & 12.06.2026.
Attention is invited to Board’s letter mentioned above stipulating therein the schedule for completion of APARs for year 2025-26. In this regard, it has been decided to further extend the timelines for recording of APAR for the year 2025-26 as mentioned in the table below:

2. The aforesaid relaxation is just a one-time measure for the reporting year 2025-26 only. Railways/PUs, CTIs, PSUs, All Central Ministries/Departments, Metro Organizations, etc. are requested to give wide publicity about the system of online filing/writing APAR, representation, if any, through SPARROW as per the scheduled timeline. It may be noted that the calendar for filing APAR should be strictly adhered to. Any delays in this regard will be detrimental to the career progression of the officers.
