No.AIRF/387(411) Dated: March 12, 2015

The Secretary(E),
Railway Board,
New Delhi

Dear Sir,

Sub: Committee for evolving a new formula for PLB on ndian Railways

Ref.: Railway Board’s letter No.E(P&A)II-2013/PLB-8 dated 11.02.2015

Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) is a product of bilateral settlement, arrived at, between the Ministry of Railways and the Staff Side Federations, on 22nd November, 1979.

Vide our letter No.AIRF/Sub-Committee 171(123) dated 14th July, 2014 we have already raised our objection in the matter of setting-up of a Committee for evolving new formula for PLB on Indian Railways.

AIRF stands with the aforementioned PLB agreement and the formula evolved on 22.11.1979 and would request the Railway Board to follow the agreement in letter and spirit in the interest of better industrial relation.
