Sub: Recommendations of the 6th CPC–Encashment of Leave on Average Pay(LAP) while availing Privilege Pass/PTO – Relaxation of Rule – Reg.

We are very much thankful to Railway Board for issuance of RBE No.48/2017 dated 16.05.2017, regarding encashment of Leave on Average Pay(LAP) while availing Privilege Passes/PTOs.
While we appreciate the Railway Board for giving one-year time, but at the same time the rider imposed for arranging proof of granting Leave, Passes and PTOs of that year would be a difficult proposition because nobody keeps the record and copies of the Pass and PTOs for a long time.
To avoid unnecessary harassment to the beneficiaries, it would be in all appropriateness that the rider imposed by the Railway Board vide their letter referred to above, should be withdrawn from the condition stipulated in this regard.

An early action in the matter shall be highly appreciated.
